My partner and I spent five days in Savannah and fell in love with the city’s charm. We loved wandering through the squares, especially in the early morning before things got busy. The River Street area was a little crowded in the evenings but worth it for the sunset views.

The architecture and history blew me away. Took a ghost tour at night and actually got goosebumps from the stories! Local food was excellent—shrimp and grits at Mrs. Wilkes’ was the highlight.

Savannah in summer is definitely warm, but the shady parks make it manageable. The art scene is a nice surprise—SCAD Museum had really interesting exhibits. Walking everywhere was easy, though parking can be tricky downtown.
