We arrived right after Derby weekend and the city was buzzing. My partner and I loved strolling the Big Four Bridge at sunset and checking out NuLu’s quirky coffee shops. The bourbon tastings were a highlight, but I wish the museum lines were a bit shorter.

I came with friends on a bourbon road trip and Louisville totally delivered. Touring the distilleries and chatting with locals at the bars made it really memorable. We also enjoyed some amazing live bluegrass in Germantown. Would come back just for the music!

The Muhammad Ali Center was even more inspiring than I expected. Food everywhere was delicious, especially the famous Hot Brown. A little quiet in the evenings outside main areas, but overall very walkable and easy to get around.

Took my two kids (ages 7 and 10) and they had a blast at the Louisville Slugger Museum. Waterfront Park was perfect for picnicking and letting them run around. Only minus was summer humidity—it gets really sticky in July.
