Spent a few days in Long Beach with my partner and really enjoyed the relaxed vibe. Shoreline Village is perfect for people-watching, and the aquarium was a highlight for us. It does get pretty busy around lunchtime but there’s always somewhere to grab a good coffee nearby.

I took my kids to the Aquarium of the Pacific and we spent nearly the whole day there! The area felt safe and walkable, but it was a bit windy on the pier. Lots of places for ice cream stops, which made the kids happy.
