We were in town for the Indy 500 and the energy was unreal! The whole city was buzzing, and we loved the festival atmosphere. If you’re coming for big events, expect crowds but it’s all part of the experience.

Downtown Indianapolis is very walkable, and there’s so much public art around. We caught a Colts game at Lucas Oil Stadium, which was really fun even as a neutral fan. I did wish there were more late night dining options.
