Boulder was such a refreshing spot for a solo trip. I hiked the Flatirons in the morning and relaxed with a coffee on Pearl Street in the afternoon. The city’s focus on sustainability really stood out. Only thing: I wish the bus schedules ran later at night.

Spent a few days hopping between breweries and exploring the campus. The vibe is lively but not overwhelming. It did get crowded, especially near Pearl Street in the evenings, but still felt relaxed compared to bigger cities.

The mountains looked beautiful with the snow, but there wasn’t much happening downtown in winter. If you’re not into winter sports, maybe choose another season. Still, coffee shops were cozy retreats and the trails are breathtaking.

My partner and I loved our spring trip here! We biked everywhere, and I adored all the little shops along Pearl Street. Just be aware, prices can be a bit high for food and hotels.

Attended a conference at CU Boulder and spent free time walking the trails. Even in late fall, the scenery's impressive. Nightlife was more chill than I'd expected but still plenty of places to grab a drink or hear live music.

Unbeatable access to nature without losing the city vibes. We went tubing on Boulder Creek, hit a couple breweries, and finished with ice cream on Pearl Street. Loved every minute!

Charming place for a winter escape, even though I’m not much of a skier. Found great cafes to work remotely and the public library was a peaceful hideout. The air does feel much drier at this altitude, though.

I’m an avid cyclist and Boulder’s network of bike paths is the best I’ve seen in the US. It’s easy to explore neighboring parks too. Pearl Street has loads of fun shops and the street musicians add nice energy.

We brought our teens and they loved the hiking, plus there’s so much cool science to discover at Fiske Planetarium. Room rates were up during a CU graduation but everything else was perfect.
