Skiing in Aspen was everything I hoped for! The snow was incredible, and I loved exploring the shops and grabbing coffee in town. It’s pricy, but honestly worth it for the experience and scenery.

Came here for hiking and the Maroon Bells did not disappoint. We saw wildflowers everywhere and the mountain views were unreal. Restaurants can be hard to get into at busy times, so make reservations if you can.

Aspen is beautiful, especially during ski season. My only downside was how crowded the lifts got around noon. Otherwise, loved the après ski scene and the mountain lodge where we stayed.

We took the kids hiking around Maroon Lake and it was the highlight of our trip. The fresh air and peaceful atmosphere made it a great escape from the city. Lots of family-friendly options, too.

Snowmass was our favorite for snowboarding—great terrain and not as hectic as Aspen Mountain. Hot chocolate by the fire after a long day was perfection!

Aspen is definitely upscale. Enjoyed the art museum and people-watching in the center. Would come back, but it's not exactly a budget spot, especially over the holidays.

The public transportation was a huge help—we didn’t need a rental car at all. We caught a play at the opera house and explored the John Denver Sanctuary. Lovely town, lovely people.

Aspen in autumn was peaceful and felt more like a local town. Some places started shutting down for the off-season but we still found great hiking and relaxed in a spa each evening.
