Spent a weekend in Liverpool and honestly could have stayed much longer. The Royal Albert Dock was lively with great food and waterside views, and the Maritime Museum was fascinating. My only gripe was how busy the waterfront got on Saturday evening.

I came mainly for the Beatles but found so much more – the people were welcoming and the music everywhere made the city feel alive. Walking around Bold Street was a highlight, loved the quirky little shops and cake cafés.

Took my teenagers to Anfield and they were thrilled! We also did the Tate Liverpool and a ferry trip across the Mersey. It rained a couple of days but luckily there was plenty of indoor stuff to do.
