Absolutely loved wandering the old college courtyards. We did a punt tour and our guide was hilarious. The city was busy with students but it felt so alive. Only downside was some areas closed to tourists during exams.

Cambridge was charming with all its old stone buildings and bridges. We spent hours at the Fitzwilliam Museum and got great photos from the Mathematical Bridge. It was a bit pricey for food in the city center, though.

Cycling along the River Cam at sunset was a highlight. The botanic garden is wonderful if you want some peaceful time away from the crowds. Try the street food stalls at Market Square – so many global options!

Stunning architecture everywhere you look! It rained a lot during our visit, so we spent more time in museums and cozy cafes. Got to say, cycling in city traffic was a bit intimidating at first.

Visited for a conference and tacked on a couple days for touring. The parks and gardens are beautiful even in the cold, and local pubs had great atmosphere. Tricky to navigate with suitcases on the cobblestones, though.

Cambridge was always on my bucket list for its university. The libraries and old chapels are impressive. I did wish the food and drink were less expensive but had a fantastic afternoon tea anyway.

Winter in Cambridge meant fewer crowds and a magical atmosphere around King's Parade. Lots of college dining halls were closed to outsiders, but still found fantastic little bakeries and bookshops.

The walking tours are excellent—our guide shared lots of quirky stories about famous alumni. We also did a food tour around Mill Road. I’d recommend staying at least two nights to really take it all in.

Fun city for a long weekend. We rented bikes and zipped around everywhere, which saved us time. Only wish the weather had been warmer, but we still loved the pub lunches.

I found Cambridge a bit overcrowded during the summer holidays—lots of big groups on the river. Still, the college gardens and Little Venice area were worth it. Next time I’ll visit outside peak season.

Colder than I expected but the museums are great for rainy days. The Fitzwilliam had an amazing art collection. Take time to wander—some of my favorite finds were in tiny alleyways.

Cambridge is so picturesque with its bridges and college buildings. I joined a student-led pub crawl which was a blast. Watch out for wet cobblestones in winter—wear good shoes.
