Victoria Falls was everything I hoped for. The walking paths gave breathtaking angles of the falls and I got totally soaked from the spray! We also did a sunset cruise which was so peaceful—managed to spot elephants right by the riverbank. Loved the vibe of the town, though it did get a bit touristy in some places.

Incredible site but very crowded around midday, which took away a bit of the magic for me. Early mornings were quieter and much nicer for exploring. Marketplace was great for gifts, but haggle a little on price. Views of the Zambezi from the bridge were phenomenal.

We came as a family with 2 kids and there was plenty for everyone. The wildlife drive in Zambezi National Park was a highlight—our guide spotted giraffes and buffalo for us! Definitely bring mosquito repellent, though. Would love to return in the wetter season to see the falls at full force.

The sheer force of the falls is unbelievable up close. I joined a walking tour and learned a lot about local history and geology. Some restaurants were a little expensive but the riverside views made up for it. Highly recommend the cultural village experience.

Did a microlight flight over the falls—it was both terrifying and amazing! Loved listening to the thunder of the water and seeing rainbows everywhere. The local guides were knowledgeable and so friendly. Can't recommend the sunset cruise enough.

We traveled with friends and really enjoyed the mix of adventure and relaxation. Our white-water rafting guide kept us laughing and safe. The craft market had so many cool things, though remember to carry cash. The only downside was the intense humidity.

The falls are massive—photos don’t do them justice. I enjoyed biking through the town and taking a day trip to nearby Livingstone Island. Some tourist areas were crowded and expensive but the overall experience was worth every penny.

Our kids loved seeing zebras in the park and all the spray from the falls. We took the kids on a short cruise and they couldn't stop talking about the hippos! It gets very wet on the walkways, so pack dry clothes. Wishing we’d done the bungee jump!

Took a guided safari one afternoon and saw lions and elephants in their natural habitat—not far from the town at all. Food was delicious, with a lot of fresh options. Only trouble I had was with slow wifi at my lodge, but with scenery like this, who cares?
